NOTD – OPI Holiday Glow
From OPI’s Holiday Wishes 2009 collection, OPI’s Holiday Glow is pretty unique. I would describe this color as brown with hints of purple. There are varying sizes of silver, bronze, and gold glitter throughout. And the base color itself is multi-tonal, it seems to change color in the light.
It’s one of the prettiest nail polishes I own and I beam with joy every time I look at my nails. I just LOVE it and I am not a glitter fan by far. These pictures of course, don’t show it’s full potential, you will just have to see it in person. *If your skin is pale, it may not be a flattering color for you.
Application: A little thick, but because it’s not a cream or metallic, so it doesn’t really matter. Flaws are easily camouflaged with glitter lacquers
You will need at the very least two layers, preferably three, for full opacity.
Wear: I used Creative Sticky Base and Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat. The tips of my nails were visible after 5 days, but I think that I can go a full 10 days without much more than that. Don’t forget that my nails are very short right now, I don’t know how it would wear on longer nails.
OPI Holiday Glow is available in stores and online.

I am wearing the same exact shade.
You’re right…this color requires at least 2 to 3 coats for full color payoff but it is worth it…very, very pretty…I have tried their other holiday collection colors too…wearing Shimmery Chic on the toes (reminds me of an old gold with glittery bits)….don’t be afraid of Ginger Bells…the color reminds me of warm Pumpkin or Sweet Potato Pie….the color of the bottle is deceiving!
Love this collection!
Great look!
