Just blogging about my highly irrevelant, partially irrational, extremely moody, slighty altruistic, pedestrian, platitudinous, sub-standard life.
This blog is just another everyday beauty blog. You can read about natural haircare, skincare, acne and most importantly make up! I am trying to be more consistent and updating this blog more often. As of May 15, I have changed the look of the blog and have done a ton of much needed edits and a lot of cleaning up. I hope that you enjoy what you read and you are encouraged to comment.

Well my dear (I got that saying from my auntie, haha), this is really nice! I’m happy that you are happy and you are feeling better about things this year. Of course, the best is yet to come, but you’re off to a great start!
Remember, I’m always here for anything you need (even if you don’t want me here)
Love ya,
Ronina

I love your blog you have great style and ideas. You have caused a reawaking in my passion for makeup and beauty that was starting to fade. I tell all my freind, cousins and my sisters about your blog. Keep it up!
You are such a wealth of information! It is wonderful (and convenient) to find info on hair care, skin care and make-up all in one place! Keep up the great work!
@ Tiffany – Thanks! LOL. It was a twist-out from two strand twists. I think my hair was probably just on the wet side of damp and I used Kemi-Oyl shea butter pomade. I probably wore the twists for only a day.
@ mimi – That is incredibly sweet, thank you.
@ Montressa – YAY! I can’t wait for you to start a blog, it’s addicting. I can’t believe that I went so long without making a bigger effort with my make up.
@ Kimberly – Thank you so much! I will try.
I know your name looked familiar. You, like me, are members of The Pretty Committee. :p Great blog!
U have wonderful skin.. Love the blog.
But, unfortunately all the products are still damn hard to find in town
Greetings from indonesia.
Um, I think Donavan gets his cheeks from you and of course Dj still has your nose! You know I’m always checking in…
~Love you

Hi Jen! I love your blog on the make-up and wanted to know more about protection hairstyles for natural hair. I’m in New England and this harsh cold weather is making me want to move sooner than I need to! I’m wearing my kinky hair and twists (about to retwist with LIC and seal the ends with oil). Do you have any protective styling advice and the best way to trim natural hair without applying too much heat?
Your advice is GREATLY appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Peace and Be Blessed
Hi Jen, I discovered your haircare videos about a month ago and have really enjoyed them. As a result of viewing the videos I’ve started wearing my hair in stretched styles more often and I’m having a lot of fun styling the up-dos.
You web page is fantastic – keep up the good work – don’t be discouraged – and in the words of my Mom “there is more than one way to “skin” a cat”.
love the blog, let’s get in touch
